Mr. Freedman is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon with training in Australia and internationally. He specialises in Minimally Invasive Muscle-sparing Bikini Anterior Hip Replacement and Patient-specific Partial and Total Knee Replacement. He provides world-class care with excellent communication and an Enhanced Recovery Program designed to accelerate rehabilitation and minimise downtime, ensuring a rapid recovery with minimal complications.
As one of Australia's most experienced Anterior Approach Hip Surgeons and Kinematic Alignment (KA) Knee Surgeons, Mr. Freedman frequently hosts local and international surgeons to observe his advanced surgical techniques. He is also regularly invited as faculty at international Orthopaedic conferences to present on research and advancements in Hip and Knee surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, he is a reviewer for several leading Orthopaedic journals and consults with the Orthopaedic industry. He has contributed to the development of new surgical tools and implants to improve patient outcomes.
He completed his Medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery training in Victoria through the Australian Orthopaedic Association’s Victorian Training Program. To further his expertise, he undertook two international fellowships- one with Professor Damian Griffin at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire in the UK, and another with Dr. Frederic Laude at Clinique du Sport in Paris.
